Imagine a shovel-ready, 1551 acre building site, with direct access to a major Interstate (I-65), railroad tracks (CSX), all utilities, and proximity to one of the world’s premier distribution and logistics centers. The Glendale Mega Site is that site. Located just seven miles south of Elizabethtown, it became an official CSX Mega Site certified in April, 2010, after meeting an exacting set of criteria.
“The site [near] Elizabethtown, we believe, is the most qualified megasite in the Southern Auto Corridor.”

With two-thirds of the U.S. population within a one-day truck drive or less, the site is fully owned by Hardin County government with industrial zoning already in place. Essential utilities: water, sewer, natural gas, electricity, and telecommunications including broadband connectivity are all ready for hook-up.
Located on a major railroad, and connected to the state’s excellent highway system, operators on the site can bring in raw materials and transport finished goods quickly via rail and four-lane highways to and from any location in North America, including UPS World Port in nearby Louisville.
The area is served by Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC) that provides a ready-made work force for almost any large operation. And it’s a loyal dedicated workforce with companies seeing very low turnover rates. With aggressive state incentives available thanks to new legislation, the site is well-suited for a large-scale client. Take a look at the video to find out more.
