A Message From the President

The First Quarter of 2015 has brought many changes to our community and especially to the Elizabethtown/Hardin County Industrial Foundation.  We packed up our office and along with the help of several individuals including Atlas Development Group, moved to our new office space at 233 Ring Road.  We were able to get everything moved by the day before the first big snowfall in February.  We are continuing to unpack and get everything in place as we have been very busy with existing projects.
Many of our industries are working at capacity 24/7 and this has brought on some growing pains and logistical difficulties.  There is a tremendous amount of traffic in the industrial park and we do appreciate everyones’ patience as we work to sort it out.
We are looking forward to the relocation of the Kentucky Career Center to the industrial park.  We plan to have a joint ribbon cutting and open house when they occupy the space next door to us at 233 Ring Road, Suite 100.
Remember, as business continues to increase and thoughts of expansions are on the horizon; please contact me to discuss any possible incentives for which your company may qualify.  I will be happy to meet with you and/or request additional help from the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development to assist.  They have project managers assigned to work with existing industries and are willing to come to you.
I am happy to say, “We are just around the corner so feel free to stop in.”
