EHCIF HOLDS APPRECIATION LUNCHEON
The Elizabethtown/Hardin County Industrial Foundation sponsored an appreciation luncheon for the manufacturing/service providers located in the industrial parks in Elizabethtown, Hardin County. The luncheon was held at the Historic State Theater on December 9, 2014 and was catered by the Stone Hearth Restaurant.
Greg Jenkins, Chairman of the Board of the EHCIF welcomed all in attendance and expressed appreciation for the continued support of economic development in Elizabethtown.
Rick Games, President of the EHCIF gave a brief overview of the new and expanding industry activity for 2014. He also introduced the guest speaker. Josh Benton, Executive Director, Workforce Development, Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development. Benton spoke about the Kentucky Skills Network and the Kentucky Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (KYFAME) programs.
