A MESSAGE FROM EHCIF PRESIDENT–Rick Games

The 2nd quarter of 2015 has proven to be a very busy time for EHCIF and many of the industries located in the industrial parks. Several are in the process of expansion either by adding on to their existing facilities or increasing their workforce.
As you have seen in earlier news articles, Kentucky and more particularly Hardin County, have been in the “Spotlight” for several positive initiatives that include economic strength, year-over-year growth and recession-busting attributes.  Additionally, the KYFAME program has become a reality in the Lincoln Trail Area and  EIFTC just made a significant donation for equipment to ECTC for Fanuc Robot training.
Hardin Counties’ unemployment rate these past few months has averaged about 5%.  This is great news; just another indicator of the growth occurring in our industrial parks!
Look for an email from us in the near future encouraging your company to become a member of the Elizabethtown/Hardin County Industrial Foundation Training Consortium.  The many benefits of being part of this training organization can be found on our website site at www.eifky.org/workforce.
We are looking forward to another great quarter in 2015 and wish everyone continued success.  As I always say, “I am available to assist you in any way possible.  Please do not hesitate to give me a call.”
