LINCOLN TRAIL CHAPTER OF KYFAME HOLDS INAUGURAL MEETING

Approximately a dozen representatives from several manufacturing companies, the Elizabethtown Community and Technical College and the Elizabethtown/Hardin County Industrial Foundation held the inaugural meeting of the Lincoln Trail Chapter of the KYFAME Program on Friday, April 10, 2015. EHCIF hosted the meeting in their new offices located at 233 Ring Road in Elizabethtown.
“KYFAME (Kentucky Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education) is a partnership of manufacturers, educators and economic development leaders that offers students an education and training program that will prepare them for a successful career in advanced manufacturing without saddling them with student debt.”, stated Kurt Krug, President of the Lincoln Trail Chapter.
The KYFAME Advanced Manufacturing Technician Program (AMT) includes a two-year Associate Degree combining cutting-edge curriculum with highly sought after business principles, a paid working experience and the best practices of world class manufacturers.
