- Connectivity: Located just 1.4 miles north of US 62, providing rapid access to I-65 (6 miles), the Martha Layne Collins Blue Grass Parkway (8.7 miles), and the Wendell H. Ford Western Kentucky Parkway (5 miles).
- Rail Access: The P&L Transportation Inc. rail line runs along the northern boundary of the park.
- Air & Water: The site is 38 miles from Louisville International Airport and 40 miles from the nearest riverport.
