Duties and Responsibilities

Repair and maintain equipment in an industrial setting for extrusion molding process, knowledge of Siemens PLC and other electronics in related areas. Check performance of machinery equipment. Perform electrical repair and diagnose mechanical problems. Read and use blueprints, manuals, work orders, schematics, technical drawings. Use hand tools, power tools, electrical and electronic devices, hoist, lifts, and pullers. Perform preventative maintenance. Install parts and equipment, replace worn and broken parts.

Knowledge

Air compressors, alarm systems, gas welding brazing or cutting apparatus, hand tools, hoisting equipment, Hydraulics, Machine shop equipment, Microsoft excel, portable two way radios, protective gloves, harness, rigging equipment. Forklift experience.

Skills Required

Must be ale to lift 50lbs. with assistance
Must be able to work 12-hour shifts plus weekends
Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel crouch or crawl

Nature of Work

Duration: Full Time, Regular
Normal Work Days: Full time regular work on a 2-2-3 rotating 12 hour evening schedule

Minimum Education Requirements

Associates in Industrial Maintenance preferred, along with 5 or more years in a manufacturing setting.
